Given the review below for our 2024 in town move, we had no hesitation in coming back to A-1 for our cross state move this summer. Once again Anthony came out for the quote and this time Ron, Demetri and William worked with us on the move. Once again, thanks to all of the A-1 team including those in the office supporting us and the moving crews. After our first move with A-1 in 2021, we had no hesitation coming back to them for last weeks move. From the initial quote by Anthony, the support by Nancy and finally the pack/move/delivery by Ron and crew - everything was excellent. We all know moving is stressful but Ron, Manny, Brittany, Demetri, Ron (day 1) & Tom (day 2) made the move last Wednesday & Thursday as smooth as possible. We recently moved from the state of VA to FL and had our items moved by a local Atlas company to A-1 for storage until our new home was available. We had no issues regarding storage - the entire process was very efficient and seamless on our end. Working with A-1 to schedule the move from storage to our home was also seamless and efficient. The moving team showed up as scheduled and were very friendly, personable and professional. They took extra care to place all items in the proper rooms and set furniture and boxes where requested - they even moved it when I decided it would look better in a different location. A huge thank you to the entire team and especially to Ron, Manny and Brittany for the excellent service provided on moving day. We've moved a fair number of times over the years, and we have never experienced the careful attention to detail, attitude, speed and integrity of A-1 movers. Under the excellent leadership of ground team leader, Ron, Manny, Brittany, Demetri and Bo are the A-team! Ron provides a great example for his team, who hustled, stayed organized and on schedule, all with a smile and gratitude for the business-a bit rare in the moving industry. From owner, Katie, whose Florida family started the business over 50 years ago, to Eric, to Cindy, and the all around operation, A-1 IS the A-team for all of your moving needs, near and far, small or large. I recently moved from Palm Beach Gardens to Boynton Beach Fla. IA-1 Moving and storage company was highly recommended by several different people. I called them and they sent their representative over by appointment at my convenience, and I was given a guesstimate of how much my move would cost. On the day of my move, two gentleman came to help me move from one area to the other. Their names were Tom and Leo. They were wonderful respectful quick hard-working people and I was really appreciative of their work. They were very helpful with what I had to move, even things that were not on the list of moving. When I received the final invoice, I was pleasantly surprised to find That the actual cost was lower than the estimate. I would highly recommend A1 moving and storage company to anyone who needs a moving company. ~ Toni P

A-1 Moving and Storage is EXCEPTIONAL! Just last week they moved us to Jupiter. We had utilized them six years ago to move us from Jupiter to Tampa and both the moves were to perfection! This time the moving team members were Ron (Leader), Brittany, Demetri, and Manny. They arrived on time to pack and delivered on time also. Every item of our household was packed with care with attention to every small detail. The delivery and unpacking was also perfect! Best of all everything arrived without a single scratch! Nancy in the office and Larry (estimator) made the move effortless and worry free. We have moved many times and the only two moving experiences that we have had are with A-1 Moving and Storage. We have used A-1’s services 3 times within our family & we would/will use them again. We only had one issue with our current move. The 4 moving employees were unvaccinated, which is their right & is not required by Atlas, however, we feel that the movers should have worn masks, or at the very least, offered to wear them. My husband & I, although we are fully vaccinated, chose to wear masks, to protect ourselves & the movers. The pandemic is awkward in many situations but other than that issue, the movers were friendly, hard working, took extra care in handling our possessions, & we were pleased with the outcome. Ron Shupe & his crew were outstanding. Anthony was very accommodating by bringing us wardrobes in advance & picking up the broken down boxes afterwards, which was a great help to us. Overall, we would recommend A-1 & they are our “go-to” movers. ~ Andria C

I would highly recommend the A1 Moving and Storage team to everyone. From the moment I met my estimator Anthony I knew I had made the right choice. He was honest, competitive with the pricing of the job, and flexible when I needed to change dates. They arrived on time at pickup and delivery. I have never seen employees work so well together. They new what each persons task was before they entered my home. The respect they had for each other was commendable. My entire home was packed professionally and quickly in 2 hours even with pouring rain. Better still, nothing was damaged on delivery! A-1 moved my parents from Sunrise FL to W Palm Beach FL. The estimator was very informative and discussed options with me. A-1 provided used boxes for me to use at no additional cost! The moving crew showed up at the time promised and were very professional. They took great care to get all the boxes and furniture into the van expeditiously. They showed up at the destination at the time promised and brought in an extra person to complete the move by the deadline imposed by the independent living facility to which they moved. The service and care provided by A-1 Moving & Storage was far more than I expected. I would gladly use them again if the need arises. ~ Stan L

10/10. No DOUBT! My wife and I moved across the state and our experience with A-1 was HANDS DOWN... HANDS DOWN the best moving experience ever. Tony was amazingly professional and courteous when he came to our house to assess the cost. Our packing and moving team was Phil Sheridan, Adam, Jesse and Jason. They were all amazing. Our moving team worked so hard. We moved out of a 3 story townhouse and INTO another 3 story townhouse. These guys were amazing. They were so gentle with the furniture and they were kind throughout the entire process. I literally cannot say enough good things about this team. Thank you from Christina, Kyle and Maverick! We hired A-1 Moving & Storage to move my mother and her partner from her Palm Beach Gardens home to a senior community 20 minutes away in November 2024. The entire process was smooth and seamless, from our initial consultation with Katie to the packing, moving and unpacking done over two days by their exceptional and professional team. The team was extremely careful, conscientious, efficient, hard-working and patient as we added and subtracted some items from our originally planned move inventory. A-1 Moving is definitely on our ‘call list’ for any future moving needs. They were professional, friendly and helpful; starting with Lee in the office. She is so sweet and followed up to insure everything went smoothly. Once we had our date locked down; three men and a lady (Ron, Manny, Brittany and Alex) teamed up to box, wrap, load and deliver our treasures to our new home. They were awesome and worked well together; even with our multi-level (3) townhome style apartment they were in and out in no time, with delivery the next morning as promised. A-1 Moving & Storage are the best moving company. Moving is a stressful experience, however, the professional team of A-1 made my move effortless. From the moment I contacted Anthony Parente, I felt that I was in good hands. Via Google Duo, I was able to show my furniture and what I needed to move. We identified each piece that needed to be moved, including a Murphy Bed. The quote for the move was very fair and reasonable. Once the moving day arrived, the team of 5 men came on time and got to work. They packed up my house in less than 2 hours. They arrived at my new house and set everything up where I wanted it, including installing the Murphy bed in its new room. The whole move took 5 hours, including the hour drive from my old home to new one. A-1 Moving & Storage is a professional, polite and well run operation. I had a complicated move in June 2024. One stop at the house for some boxes/furniture pick up and 2 storage units full of furniture at different locations with all to be unloaded to a condo at the final location! A team of 6 and 2 trucks made this all happen in 6 hrs. Incredible efforts of this crew. Incidentally, while unpacking crystal glassware for the china cabinet, I found a crystal brandy snifter still in the corner of the top shelf UNBROKEN! That's how careful this team was when moving the cabinet! I've used A-1 4 times in 5 years and confidently recommend this company for their moving needs! ~ Melinda E

A-1 Moving is the best moving company we have ever used. From meeting initially with Katie giving us the quote to the completed job by the movers. When the movers arrived they where professional with smiles on their face. Invited us to sit down and relax while they do the rest. They were fast, efficient and took every measure to be sure that nothing was damaged. It was a three hour drive to unload and they never missed a beat. A1 moving and storage is really a one of a kind operation. They actually let us into their warehouse to see the conditions in which our belongings were to be kept. I was so surprised to see how immaculately kept it was. It was air conditioned as promised, as well as clean and incredibly organized. After some bad experiences in the past with other companies, we will never again leave our stuff with a company that will not allow us to see what the warehouse looks like, and most won't. I feel very comfortable with A1 moving and storage not only handling our precious items, but also storing them in an environment that they should be kept. ~ Walter E

Incredibly thankful for Andy and A-1 Moving & Storage. They were a huge help when I needed to move my local office with very short notice for people who were sub-leasing my office space and needed it right away. From start to finish, the process was professional, organized, and everyone from the office staff to the moving crew was very courteous and pleasant to work with. The crew who moved my furniture took excellent care of everything! I was very grateful, especially considering I had some very expensive pieces, glass cabinet, and other fragile pieces. We were referred to Katie and A-1 Moving and Storage by our realtor when selling our primary residence here in Hobe Sound, FL. We could not be happier with the care and commitment of everyone involved; and in particular Ray B., the driver, and Dylan and Julian who packed up all of our belongings to place in secure crated storage. We have moved multiple times over the years and with multiple moving companies, however, A-1 Moving was far and away the most effective and enjoyable experience. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with A-1 Moving & Storage. We used their SimpliCity move system, and it all went very smoothly. We moved from Florida to Texas, and the price was exactly what was quoted. It was great that we could specify both the pick-up and delivery dates. We simply had the best moving experience possible. We moved to Palm Beach Gardens on July 17th. Ron’s team exceeded all our expectations. There were absolutely no problems. They were extremely helpful in all aspects of the move. I was even helped emptying my automobile with items we wanted to transport ourselves. I can’t say enough about the professionalism, the caring, and the efficiency Ron and his team provided. Five stars is not enough to give A1 movers. Phil and his team from A-1 Moving & Storage moved us out of our house and into storage 2 years ago. We built a new house and Phil and his same team just moved our stuff from storage into the new house. With both moves they were courteous, professional and considerate of our property and took extraordinary care to make sure our belongings were well cared for both in storage and during the transport. Andy and his team did an amazing job moving my scientific research operation across the country from Jupiter, Florida to Seattle. It was a huge, complicated move. Andy and his team pulled it off without a hitch. They inspected and cleaned our microscopy equipment, and had everything reassembled and checked at our new location. Inventory was well done. Handling communication with me and my team was tremendous. If I called with a question or concern, Andy was right there. This is the second time Andy has moved my research lab a long distance. I cannot say enough about how fabulous this company is. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient and accessible. We wound up in storage for a month between homes and we had zero concerns about our belongings. Katie is a second generation owner and came to our home to build the estimate on the spot. I reached out to A1 for a quote, Larry came out the next day, explained all of it. Sounded good. Of course moving can be a very fluid thing A1 worked with me, thanks to Nancy. I gotta say after a whole bunch of moves without using a moving company, i had no idea how nice using a mover could be. There was work, packing, but on the day of the move, no work. The guys arrived promptly, did not waste a minute, got right to work. Times money. They worked hard, efficiently, and got the job done. Polite and professional. our move was some what complicated. we had to arrange for shipment to our new home or as a backup the contents nay have to go to storage. Your people from the contact administrator (Cindy) to your dispatch people (Dawn) and your move crew led by Ron were incredible. No matter what obsticle we threw at them the response was the same "don't worry we got your back". At a very stressful time your team got us threw it with ease.I can not say enough good things about your entire team.Thank you very much. ~ lordan k
